
Prof Dan Haydon
Prof. Dan Haydon is the Director of Institute/Professor of Population Ecology and Epidemiology (Institute of Biodiversity Animal Health & Comparative Medicine) at the University of Glasgow and an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Prof Haydon is also the Director of the Glasgow Centre for International Development
He is interested in ecological processes regardless of the scale at which they occur. Although he his fascinated with theoretical (ecological) problems, he also advocate for applied research towards impact on public and animal health, conservation science, the sustainable exploitation of renewable resources, etc.
